Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

While school holidays are a significant factor of cottage price, the percentage increase tends to be very similar for all cottages. The Aldgate is becoming increasingly popular so it's a good idea to book early if you can.

By the way, it's always worth checking with your fellow guests to understand what they expect from the cottage. We know that many families with young children like to have access to satellite or free view TV channels such as Cbeebies and the Disney Channel. Many guests book holiday cottages for a break from all this stuff and prefer to read a book, open a bottle of wine, and just relax.

Escape To Aldgate

Cottage prices in Aldgate will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Aldgate school summer holidays.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. If you're travelling to Aldgate in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to Aldgate with you. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a Rutland cottage found through us!

Cottages For Holidays

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in Aldgate. No pressure from the owner to eat meals at specific times, when you are self-catering the food is ready when you want it to be ready.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
