Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in Anchorage Park , we recommend you bring some essential items. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Escape To Anchorage Park

In Anchorage Park , high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Anchorage Park school summer holidays.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Anchorage Park with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Many Anchorage Park visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Anchorage Park or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

The rise in popularity of holiday cottages is clear - more and more people are choosing to spend their holidays in the UK. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Anchorage Park .

For friends, families or couples a holiday can be a valuable break from the daily grind. The fact that you are renting a unique 'unit' means that you can do what you want, when you want.

You don't have to eat at set times with set menus, get out of the room by a certain time or tiptoe around other guests late at night.
