Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

Whenever you're travelling to Cockerham, there are a few things you should always take with you. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you have a DVD player in the Lancashire cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

Escape To Cockerham

Cottage prices in Cockerham will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. July and August are usually Lancashire school summer holidays.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Cockerham with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Cockerham cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Cockerham or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

Without a doubt the cottage holiday is becoming a more popular way to spend free time. Why travel abroad when there are so many great places to discover at home, staying in a holiday cottage in Cockerham.

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. We already have enough rules and timetables in our lives, and a cottage holiday provides total freedom.

Say goodbye to the structure of fixed meal times, the frustrations of noisy room-mates that you don't know and irritating staff!
