We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Escape To Cold Cotes

The best cottages in the area are spotlessly clean, with great facilities and attentive owners eager to please their guests. It's impossible not to notice the vast improvements in self-catering cottage accommodation in recent years.

No longer do you have to worry whether the property will be clean and tidy, and with the same amenities as advertised. As far as we know the cottages in Cold Cotes are up to scratch but if something is awry please call the owner/agent.

You might be surprised how quickly it can be sorted out if you just let them know.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Cold Cotes cottage. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

Holiday cottages are swiftly becoming one of the most enjoyable ways to spend a week's holiday in the UK. Why travel abroad when there are so many great places to discover at home, staying in a holiday cottage in Cold Cotes.

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. Hotels and B&Bs are great, but they still have long lists of rules that can take the fun out of a holiday.

You don't have to eat at set times with set menus, get out of the room by a certain time or tiptoe around other guests late at night.
