If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Escape To Duddo

Cottage prices in Duddo will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

Some of the best cottages in the UK are fiercely independent and have incredibly high standards, and more recently the rise of agencies has helped increase standards right across the board.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Duddo , you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Duddo with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Many Duddo visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

There's no doubt that more and more people are staying in cottages. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Duddo .

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. We already have enough rules and timetables in our lives, and a cottage holiday provides total freedom.

You have all the choice you need; you can order in a takeaway, eat out in a local restaurant or pub, and come and go as you please.
