As with any holiday, we encourage you to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of your fellow guests (or spouses). If you're travelling with friends they may have very different expectations compared to staying with your family - such as a nearby pub. But the best things in life are sometimes the opposite; a quiet spot of fishing in a stream, a walk through a delightful wood, or just a good meal.

Escape To Edenbridge

The best cottages in the area are spotlessly clean, with great facilities and attentive owners eager to please their guests. The rise of cottage agencies has had a significant impact (in a good way) on the quality of places to stay.

The gap between expectation and reality when you get to your property has narrowed and narrowed - often to 'no gap'. As far as we know the cottages in Edenbridge are up to scratch but if something is awry please call the owner/agent.

And as customer service improves (and it improves all the time) you'll discover that if there is a problem it can be addressed quite quickly.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

We want you to have a great Kent holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in Edenbridge. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Edenbridge.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
