Please make sure you check that each cottage has the facilities you require before you make your booking. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. Of course many people travel to get away from it all, and just relax quietly with an open fire and a good book.

Escape To Forest Row

Throughout the East Sussex area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to Forest Row. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

We want you to have a great East Sussex holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

There's no doubt that more and more people are staying in cottages. It just seems a little pointless to fly half way around the world when there are so many great places to see in Forest Row.

For families, a cottage holiday can be a wonderful experience - free of the humdrum routine of home life. Hotels and B&Bs are great, but they still have long lists of rules that can take the fun out of a holiday.

You can do what you want, when you want to do it - and that's just a such a breath of fresh air when you are on a week's escape!
