Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

Whenever you're travelling to IG2, there are a few things you should always take with you. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. Although you can buy your essential food and drink items locally, it's great to have them with you so you can make a sandwich or a cup of coffee as soon as you arrive. We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Escape To IG2

The best holiday cottages in IG2 are clean, charming and warm - some might say as nice as staying home. Cottage owners and agencies have increased their standards quite significantly throughout the last decade.

Meaning that the days of sub-standard amenities, bedding and even heating are left behind in the 20th Century. There will always be occasions where something isn't quite right and we encourage you to contact the owner or agency so it can be resolved quickly.

And as customer service improves (and it improves all the time) you'll discover that if there is a problem it can be addressed quite quickly.

All About Cottages

When you choose your IG2 accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the IG2 cottage. If the description of the IG2 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering holidays can be the most fun in IG2. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
