Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in Kincraig , we recommend you bring some essential items. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

Escape To Kincraig

Although we can't make promises on behalf of the owners and agencies, you can expect the best holiday cottages to be clean, secure and warm. Cottage owners and agencies have increased their standards quite significantly throughout the last decade.

For the traveller, this is clearly great news and although inevitably there have been price rises, we think it's for the better overall. There will always be occasions where something isn't quite right and we encourage you to contact the owner or agency so it can be resolved quickly.

If you tell them about the problem they may be able to remove it or fix it before the day is over!

All About Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you're travelling to Kincraig in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Many Kincraig visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in Kincraig . It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. For many people the idea of a Kincraig cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
