Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages
In Milkwall , whatever time of year, and whoever you are with, we have a few suggestions for essentials to take along. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.
If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.
Escape To Milkwall
Although we can't make promises on behalf of the owners and agencies, you can expect the best holiday cottages to be clean, secure and warm. Cottages have really improved in the last 10+ years.
With very few exceptions there's no longer a chasm between what it says on the cottage website and the cottage itself! As far as we know the cottages in Milkwall
are up to scratch but if something is awry please call the owner/agent.
It may be easy to resolve quickly and without any further inconvenience or confusion.

All About Cottages
When you choose your Milkwall
accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?
Many Milkwall
visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Milkwall
cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!
Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!
Cottages For Holidays
There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in Milkwall
. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.
You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.
For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
