Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in NR11, we recommend you bring some essential items. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

We always make sure we take a good book. There's always plenty of downtime on a cottage holiday, and so it's a great time to catch up on a read. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We love finding great new cottages, part of the fun of a holiday is not quite knowing where you're going!

Escape To NR11

Cottage prices in NR11 will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. July and August are usually school summer holidays.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

Cottage agencies are growing in size as a greater number of independents sign up with them. As a consumer this has a positive impact - in theory the facilities and standards are kept to a pre-agreed level.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in NR11 with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to NR11 with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the NR11 cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in NR11. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in NR11.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
