Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages
Many of our cottages are extremely reasonable in price, based on their size, facilities and season. The time of year, size and facilities can make a considerable difference, but sometimes you can get more than you need for the same cost.
By the way, it's always worth checking with your fellow guests to understand what they expect from the cottage. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. Many guests book holiday cottages for a break from all this stuff and prefer to read a book, open a bottle of wine, and just relax.
Escape To Newbourne
In Newbourne
, high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the Newbourne
school summer holidays.
Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.
Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

All About Cottages
Whether you're going away with friends or family to Newbourne
, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. If you're travelling to Newbourne
in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?
Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Newbourne
cottage. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.
Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!
Cottages For Holidays
We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Newbourne
. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).
And it also gives the freedom of eating out without needing to reorganise any plans in your accomodation. You don't need to tell anyone, just sit down and order! We know many people who consider a holiday cottage as the perfect way to wind down after a busy urban lifestyle - sleep in, take lazy walks through the countryside and take more time over meals.
For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
