Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in North Kiscadale , we recommend you bring some essential items. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

Escape To North Kiscadale

The rates for North Kiscadale cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

Some of the best cottages in the UK are fiercely independent and have incredibly high standards, and more recently the rise of agencies has helped increase standards right across the board.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to North Kiscadale with you. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

The rise in popularity of holiday cottages is clear - more and more people are choosing to spend their holidays in the UK. It just seems a little pointless to fly half way around the world when there are so many great places to see in North Kiscadale .

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. Other types of accommodation are far more rigid, which just doesn't seem so much fun to us.

You don't have to eat at set times with set menus, get out of the room by a certain time or tiptoe around other guests late at night.
