Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in Old Country , we recommend you bring some essential items. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Escape To Old Country

The best cottages in in Old Country are representative of the good standards you'll find across the UK. Cottage owners and agencies have increased their standards quite significantly throughout the last decade.

With very few exceptions there's no longer a chasm between what it says on the cottage website and the cottage itself! As far as we know the cottages in Old Country are up to scratch but if something is awry please call the owner/agent.

It may be easy to resolve quickly and without any further inconvenience or confusion.

All About Cottages

When you choose your Old Country accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

Many Old Country visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Cottages For Holidays

There's no doubt that more and more people are staying in cottages. Why travel abroad when there are so many great places to discover at home, staying in a holiday cottage in Old Country .

Cottage holidays are the perfect antidote to the tiresome repetition of city or town life. The fact that you are renting a unique 'unit' means that you can do what you want, when you want.

You have all the choice you need; you can order in a takeaway, eat out in a local restaurant or pub, and come and go as you please.
