Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages
The price of a holiday cottage will vary based on size, facilities and time of year - and the demand for the area. The time of year, size and facilities can make a considerable difference, but sometimes you can get more than you need for the same cost.
As with any holiday, we encourage you to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of your fellow guests (or spouses). The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. Of course many people travel to get away from it all, and just relax quietly with an open fire and a good book.
Escape To Pitgrudy
The rates for Pitgrudy
cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. July and August are usually school summer holidays.
Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.
Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

All About Cottages
Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you're travelling to Pitgrudy
in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?
Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Pitgrudy
cottage. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.
Wherever you stay, whether it's in Pitgrudy
or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!
Cottages For Holidays
We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Pitgrudy
. No pressure from the owner to eat meals at specific times, when you are self-catering the food is ready when you want it to be ready.
You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.
For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
