Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

Plymouth cottages can be very reasonable value for the UK holiday maker - especially if you avoid the expensive school holiday times. It’s important to note that a high price doesn’t always mean that the property is best for you in Plymouth.

We highly recommend that you ensure that the property you're considering has all the features you need. Families often need more amenities than couples as the need to keep the kids entertained, fed and quiet often requires a little technological helping hand. However you may not want or need any of the super facilities and be happier with the simple things in life, perhaps a pint of beer in a local pub.

Escape To Plymouth

The rates for Plymouth cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Plymouth, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. Not all places will welcome pets so please make sure that it's either clearly marked on the booking website, or if not drop a quick line to the owner to make sure.

We want you to have a great Devon holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in Plymouth. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in Plymouth.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
