Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

Whenever you're travelling to Poundffald , there are a few things you should always take with you. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Escape To Poundffald

Although we can't make promises on behalf of the owners and agencies, you can expect the best holiday cottages to be clean, secure and warm. Cottage owners and agencies have increased their standards quite significantly throughout the last decade.

With very few exceptions there's no longer a chasm between what it says on the cottage website and the cottage itself! We absolutely recommend you contact the owner or the agent if something is missing, broken, or simply not as advertised.

If you tell them about the problem they may be able to remove it or fix it before the day is over!

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

Many Poundffald visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. If the description of the Poundffald cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

For many people the perfect UK holiday is staying in a cottage, and it's clearly an increasing trend. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Poundffald .

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. We already have enough rules and timetables in our lives, and a cottage holiday provides total freedom.

Say goodbye to the structure of fixed meal times, the frustrations of noisy room-mates that you don't know and irritating staff!
