Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

Many of our cottages are extremely reasonable in price, based on their size, facilities and season. Always remember that the best cottages are not necessarily the most expensive!

As with any holiday, we encourage you to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of your fellow guests (or spouses). If you're travelling with friends they may have very different expectations compared to staying with your family - such as a nearby pub. Many guests book holiday cottages for a break from all this stuff and prefer to read a book, open a bottle of wine, and just relax.

Escape To RG20

RG20 holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

If you want to avoid half-term in the summer, draw a line through the first two weeks of June. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

Many cottage owners have signed themselves up with national agencies to help with the marketing and administration, which also helps keep standards to a certain level.

Cottages For Holidays

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in RG20. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in RG20.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
