Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in Riseden , we suggest a few key items to take along. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

We think a good book is another essential. Not just an opportunity to catch up on your reading, but also to pass the time waiting for everyone else to get themselves ready, or wait out the rain! And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Escape To Riseden

Riseden holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

When you're searching for the best cottage for your stay, make sure that you've thought through the bedroom needs and allocation. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Riseden or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

There's no doubt that more and more people are staying in cottages. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Riseden .

Escaping the inevitably dull (or stressful) daily treadmill is important for everyone. Hotels and B&Bs are great, but they still have long lists of rules that can take the fun out of a holiday.

You can do what you want, when you want to do it - and that's just a such a breath of fresh air when you are on a week's escape!
