By the way, it's always worth checking with your fellow guests to understand what they expect from the cottage. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To SK7

SK7 holiday accommodation rates increase in peak season, which is generally around the times of the school summer holidays. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

When you choose your SK7 accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Many SK7 visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. If the description of the SK7 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in SK7. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

And if you have specific dietary needs, whether that's something relatively common like vegetarianism or a more unusual food allergy, cooking your own food allows you peace of mind. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in SK7.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
