Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in ST1, we suggest a few key items to take along. You can never be sure of the weather, so take something to protect you from the rain - ideally something that can be packed in a rucksack just in case.

If you like watching films and there's a DVD facility in the cottage then it's a good idea to stock up on some good movies so you can spend a couple of nights enjoying the classics. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

Escape To ST1

The best cottages in in ST1 are representative of the good standards you'll find across the UK. It's impossible not to notice the vast improvements in self-catering cottage accommodation in recent years.

For the traveller, this is clearly great news and although inevitably there have been price rises, we think it's for the better overall. We absolutely recommend you contact the owner or the agent if something is missing, broken, or simply not as advertised.

Its always better to get things addressed early on so that they don't bug you for the whole holiday.

All About Cottages

When you choose your ST1 accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to ST1. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Cottages For Holidays

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in ST1. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. For many people the idea of a ST1 cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
