Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

The price of a holiday cottage will vary based on size, facilities and time of year - and the demand for the area. Always remember that the best cottages are not necessarily the most expensive!

As with any holiday, we encourage you to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of your fellow guests (or spouses). We know that many families with young children like to have access to satellite or free view TV channels such as Cbeebies and the Disney Channel. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To Staffordshire

The rates for Staffordshire cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. July and August are usually school summer holidays.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Last minute bookings are alway possible, though clearly your choices will be fewer. It really is worth booking early.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering is an ideal way to holiday in Staffordshire. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. For many people the idea of a Staffordshire cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
