As with any holiday, we encourage you to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of your fellow guests (or spouses). We know that many families with young children like to have access to satellite or free view TV channels such as Cbeebies and the Disney Channel. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To TN14

The rates for TN14 cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. July and August are usually school summer holidays.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. It's recommended to make an early booking to ensure your date, especially during high season, but it's not impossible to find a last minute opportunity.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

When you choose your TN14 accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. If you're travelling to TN14 in a group of single people, are there enough beds in the bedrooms?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to TN14. If the description of the TN14 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Cottages For Holidays

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in TN14. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
