Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

If you want to have the best cottage holiday possible in TN15, we suggest a few key items to take along. Definitely pack some waterproof clothing. There's no such thing as a guarantee against the rain and there's nothing worse than being stuck inside.

If your family and friends are anything like ours, you should have a good book ready to fill those times when everyone's getting ready, or waiting for them to come back from a long walk. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

Escape To TN15

Although we can't make promises on behalf of the owners and agencies, you can expect the best holiday cottages to be clean, secure and warm. We've noticed a huge improvement in the quality of cottages throughout the UK in the last 10 years.

With very few exceptions there's no longer a chasm between what it says on the cottage website and the cottage itself! There will always be occasions where something isn't quite right and we encourage you to contact the owner or agency so it can be resolved quickly.

And as customer service improves (and it improves all the time) you'll discover that if there is a problem it can be addressed quite quickly.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

Many TN15 visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. We always suggest that you check with the owner if there are no pet details listed. And even if there are, it can be a good idea to let them know so they can put out a bowl of water for your dog's arrival.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in TN15 or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in TN15. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Waking up without the alarm, cooking a nice hearty breakfast, perhaps sitting by the river for a spot of fishing or just reading a book.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
