Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

The price of a holiday cottage will vary based on size, facilities and time of year - and the demand for the area. It’s important to note that a high price doesn’t always mean that the property is best for you in Temple Place.

We highly recommend that you ensure that the property you're considering has all the features you need. These days you can expect many properties to offer satellite or cable television, and some will offer wi-fi and other high tech options. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To Temple Place

Throughout the area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. The summer holiday period (for schools) runs from mid-July through the whole of August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of Temple Place accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Temple Place, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Temple Place with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in Temple Place. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in Temple Place.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
