Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in Trumpet, we recommend you bring some essential items. Start with something to keep the rain away. You can never really be sure of the weather. An umbrella and a raincoat are a good start!

If you have a DVD player in the Herefordshire cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. Finally you should take a few initial supplies, such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some cheese. Of course you can usually buy them locally but it's easy to forget and there's nothing better than a cup of tea before you start unpacking. We have stayed in many types of cottage, and we've decided we like both traditional and modern - it just depends on where we're going.

Escape To Trumpet

The rates for Trumpet cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

When you choose your Trumpet accommodation its worth bearing in mind the group of people staying with you. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Trumpet with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Trumpet cottage. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the Trumpet cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

We want you to have a great Herefordshire holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

There's no doubt that more and more people are staying in cottages. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Trumpet.

For friends, families or couples a holiday can be a valuable break from the daily grind. Other types of accommodation are far more rigid, which just doesn't seem so much fun to us.

You have all the choice you need; you can order in a takeaway, eat out in a local restaurant or pub, and come and go as you please.
