Please make sure you check that each cottage has the facilities you require before you make your booking. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. But the best things in life are sometimes the opposite; a quiet spot of fishing in a stream, a walk through a delightful wood, or just a good meal.

Escape To Welbury

Throughout the North Yorkshire area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to Welbury, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Welbury cottage. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Wherever you stay, whether it's in Welbury or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

The rise in popularity of holiday cottages is clear - more and more people are choosing to spend their holidays in the UK. The cost and inconvenience of international travel is unnecessary when we have such excellent things to do in Welbury.

For families, a cottage holiday can be a wonderful experience - free of the humdrum routine of home life. Other types of accommodation are far more rigid, which just doesn't seem so much fun to us.

Say goodbye to the structure of fixed meal times, the frustrations of noisy room-mates that you don't know and irritating staff!
