Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

While school holidays are a significant factor of cottage price, the percentage increase tends to be very similar for all cottages. It’s important to note that a high price doesn’t always mean that the property is best for you in Whitstable.

As tourists become more demanding, so properties are improving their facilities to meet those demands. If you're travelling with friends they may have very different expectations compared to staying with your family - such as a nearby pub. However you may not want or need any of the super facilities and be happier with the simple things in life, perhaps a pint of beer in a local pub.

Escape To Whitstable

Cottage prices in Whitstable will range from high to low throughout the year, but clearly the summer months will be the most expensive as remand increases. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Half term dates are different for different schools, but normally summer half-term is around the first two weeks of June. Although we really encourage you too book your cottage early, there are opportunities for last minute bookings, so it can be worth checking.

Some of the best cottages in the UK are fiercely independent and have incredibly high standards, and more recently the rise of agencies has helped increase standards right across the board.

All About Cottages

Before you book that 16th Century thatched roof cottage with low ceilings, you may want to ask the tallest people in your group/family whether the olde worlds charm outweighs the pain of bumping heads on beams. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in Whitstable with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dogs need holidays too, so it can be fun to bring your favourite pooch to the Whitstable cottage. If the description of the Whitstable cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

We want you to have a great Kent holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

Without a doubt the cottage holiday is becoming a more popular way to spend free time. It just seems a little pointless to fly half way around the world when there are so many great places to see in Whitstable.

For friends, families or couples a holiday can be a valuable break from the daily grind. Other types of accommodation are far more rigid, which just doesn't seem so much fun to us.

No need to vacate your room when you want to be having a lie in, no need to feel bad about eating at a restaurant when you've already paid for your hotel meal.
