While school holidays are a significant factor of cottage price, the percentage increase tends to be very similar for all cottages. We offer a number of properties that will hopefully meet your needs - at a range of prices in UK.

Please make sure you check that each cottage has the facilities you require before you make your booking. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. But the best things in life are sometimes the opposite; a quiet spot of fishing in a stream, a walk through a delightful wood, or just a good meal.

Escape To UK

The rates for UK cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. The school summer holidays generally run from the middle of July to late August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

In recent years there has been an increase in the size of cottage agencies. Generally speaking that means that someone is always checking the quality of UK accommodation, either in person, or based on customer feedback.

All About Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in UK with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Most dog owners like to take their four legged friends away with them on trips to UK. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the UK cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in UK or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in UK. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in UK.

But you may want to get out and burn some energy on bikes, climb a hill or mountain, or even try canoeing. Whatever you choose, please take the right clothing and equipment with you.
