Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

To make the best of your trip in UK, we recommend you bring some essential items. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. Lastly we think turning up with a few things to eat and drink is a good start to your holiday - there's nothing worse than grumpy kids or friends when its time to unpack, and a little chocolate or a cup of coffee can work wonders. We're often asked which is the best place to stay, and it's so hard to answer, it really depends what you are looking for.

Escape To UK

Although we can't make promises on behalf of the owners and agencies, you can expect the best holiday cottages to be clean, secure and warm. Cottages have really improved in the last 10+ years.

For the traveller, this is clearly great news and although inevitably there have been price rises, we think it's for the better overall. There will always be occasions where something isn't quite right and we encourage you to contact the owner or agency so it can be resolved quickly.

Its always better to get things addressed early on so that they don't bug you for the whole holiday.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to UK, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Do you need twin beds or double beds, can the kids share a room, will your friends all want separate bedrooms?

Many UK visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. If the description of the UK cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

We want you to have a great holiday so we wish you the best of luck finding your perfect accomodation.

Cottages For Holidays

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in UK. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

And it also gives the freedom of eating out without needing to reorganise any plans in your accomodation. You don't need to tell anyone, just sit down and order! Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in UK.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
