Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

While school holidays are a significant factor of cottage price, the percentage increase tends to be very similar for all cottages. The UK is becoming increasingly popular so it's a good idea to book early if you can.

By the way, it's always worth checking with your fellow guests to understand what they expect from the cottage. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. Many guests book holiday cottages for a break from all this stuff and prefer to read a book, open a bottle of wine, and just relax.

Escape To UK

In UK, high season tends to match the summer school holidays, with mid-season a month either side. Mid-July til the end of August are the core weeks for the UK school summer holidays.

Half term in the summer extends across the first half of June, as different schools break up at different times. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

More and more cottages seem to be signing up with agencies to help with their bookings.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to UK, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Is there agreement on an old fashioned cottage, or should you be looking for something contemporary with all the modern appliances?

Many UK visitors like to bring their pets (normally dogs) when they go on holiday. Many places will accept dogs, but it's always a good idea to double check in advance if it's not mentioned on the booking website.

Have a great holiday, wherever you stay. Hopefully it will be in a cottage found through us!

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in UK. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! For many people the idea of a UK cottage holiday allows them to relax, take long rambling walks and stop off at a country pub for a pint and a ploughman's lunch.

But you may want to get out and burn some energy on bikes, climb a hill or mountain, or even try canoeing. Whatever you choose, please take the right clothing and equipment with you.
