Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

While school holidays are a significant factor of cottage price, the percentage increase tends to be very similar for all cottages. It’s important to note that a high price doesn’t always mean that the property is best for you in UK.

As tourists become more demanding, so properties are improving their facilities to meet those demands. The available amenities across our range of cottages include the basics such as central heating, to the latest technology such as wi-fi internet. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To UK

Throughout the area rates will vary quite a bit throughout the year - clearly the winter is the cheapest time. School holidays tend to be mid-July to the end of August.

Summer half-term usually appears in the first couple of weeks in June, although different types of schools have different dates. It's becoming less likely to book the best cottages last minute, but by no means impossible. We recommend you give it a try.

Some of the best cottages in the UK are fiercely independent and have incredibly high standards, and more recently the rise of agencies has helped increase standards right across the board.

All About Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to UK, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in UK with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. If the description of the UK cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Don't forget to make the most of your holiday - none of us get enough of them!

Cottages For Holidays

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in UK. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

And it also gives the freedom of eating out without needing to reorganise any plans in your accomodation. You don't need to tell anyone, just sit down and order! We know many people who consider a holiday cottage as the perfect way to wind down after a busy urban lifestyle - sleep in, take lazy walks through the countryside and take more time over meals.

For many, however, its a chance to really do something active, from running and mountain biking to swimming and climbing.
