Welcome To Our Selection of Holiday Cottages

The price of a holiday cottage will vary based on size, facilities and time of year - and the demand for the area. The UK is becoming increasingly popular so it's a good idea to book early if you can.

We highly recommend that you ensure that the property you're considering has all the features you need. If you're travelling with friends they may have very different expectations compared to staying with your family - such as a nearby pub. If you're more interested in escaping the mod cons then you can always turn them off and relax in the lounge or garden of your cottage.

Escape To UK

The rates for UK cottages are highest in the warmer months, generally aligning with the school holidays. July and August are usually school summer holidays.

The private and state schools tend to have differing half-term dates, but normally the first half of June is summer half-term. Booking early is always a good idea. You have a much better chance of getting your preferred date and accommodation. But, that doesn't mean its impossible to get a late booking.

Some of the best cottages in the UK are fiercely independent and have incredibly high standards, and more recently the rise of agencies has helped increase standards right across the board.

Cottages For Holidays

Self-catering always makes your holiday more relaxing in UK. We like the freedom of eating meals when we want. There's something wrong with taking a holiday and then finding out that you have to get up early or you miss the breakfast you've paid for.

Eat what you want, whenever you want it. And of course that's particularly good if anyone in your party suffers from food allergies or has other dietary requirements. A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in UK.

For others it's an opportunity to get more active, from mountain biking to cross-country running. If you're over 60, we recommend the more relaxed approach!
